Job summary

Southcoast Health is hiring a Social Worker-Counselor-Lic Indep at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. The role focuses on behavioral health assessments and therapy within a hospital setting. Qualifications

• A Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university.
• Current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduces behavioral health assessments and provides behavioral health treatment including individual and family psychotherapy.
• Serves as a consultant and resource to hospital staff in the management and treatment of behavioral health disorders.
• Coordinates with complex/chronic care management and longitudinal community support services.
