Job Description
As a Social Worker Clinician Counselor with The Menta Education Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, working collaboratively with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.
Location: 6340 S. New England Ave. Chicago, IL 60638
Hours: 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, following a school calendar

Menta Academy Midway promotes independence by creating individualized learning environments. It supports English and non-English speaking children with disabilities, focusing on the whole child in their native language. The program uses collaborative, data-based problem-solving to develop interventions and monitor progress.
The classrooms incorporate evidence-based strategies from the Structured Teaching Model by TEACCH, emphasizing physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, communication, and sensory supports to maximize student success.
Serving students in grades K-12 and transitioning students aged 18-21, the disabilities addressed include autism, emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, and multiple disabilities.
