Position Summary

Seeking a casual clinical social worker (LGSW or LICSW) to support social work coverage on an as-needed basis at various locations. Responsibilities include supporting patients and families facing admissions, trauma, grief, end of life, discharge barriers, and basic needs, for children aged 0-18 years.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Psychosocial Assessment and Intervention: Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling.
  2. Communication and Care Coordination: Facilitate communication among stakeholders and participate in care planning.
  3. Decision-Making Support: Assist families with medical decisions and advocate for their preferences.
  4. Grief and Bereavement Support: Provide counseling and support for at least 13 months post-death.
  5. Community Resource Navigation: Connect families with community services and collaborate with external organizations.
  6. Education and Advocacy: Educate and advocate for patients and families, ensuring culturally sensitive care.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited program
  • State licensure as LGSW or LICSW
  • Knowledge of community resources and crisis intervention experience
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience or graduate internship in healthcare or pediatric settings
Additional Information

Shift availability includes weekdays 8 AM-4:30 PM. Positions are casual with no fixed schedule; a minimum of 2 shifts per month is required. Salary is competitive and includes benefits. All offers contingent upon background checks and health assessments.
