Job summary

Florida Parishes Human Services Authority seeks a qualified Social Worker to provide clinical assessment and treatment for adults and children with mental health needs, SUD, and related conditions. Minimum Qualifications

• Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:
• A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.

• Completes intake and psycho‑social evaluations on primarily adults and some aftercare individuals, which includes providing technical and clinical input on diagnosis and treatment in the interdisciplinary staff consultation with staff prescribers to establish an individual’s treatment plan for each individual in treatment.
• Completes correspondence, written reports, and other communications with other agencies regarding an individual’s care
• May provide crisis evaluation for individuals who are in acute distress as indicated by a family member, coroner, law authorities, etc., which may require complex and specialized crisis intervention, psychosocial evaluation, and specialized clinical treatment.

Appointment Type: Probational Appointment or Job Appointment

Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.

The following rates are Special Entrance Rates (SER) established for this agency in these job titles:

• Social Worker 4: $24.35/hour minimum - $41.38/hour maximum

Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant’s level of experience. Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and NOT the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.

Location: Rosenblum Behavioral Health Clinic in Hammond, Louisiana
