School Social Workerat Spring-Ford Area School District

The School Social Worker provides schools with the knowledge and competence required to provide school social work services for all students in grades PK-12 with a focus on preventative and/or problem-solving tools.

Position Specifics: This is a grant-funded position that will work with all students K-12.

Certification / Licensure:

Must have a valid and active PA School Social Worker certificate and must hold a current license as a social worker (LSW) or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State and maintain that license to be employed under this staffing assignment as School Social Worker.

Compensation:

Salary per the collective bargaining agreement. Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program.

All external candidates will need to submit valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances dated less than 1 year old as of the start of employment.
