Volunteers of America–Greater New York in Bronx, NY is seeking a Social Worker to provide wellness and recovery-oriented services on-site for residents. The Social Worker is creating and maintain a wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using person-first language, respectful documentation, person centered planning, and evidence-based practices to ensure the program provides comprehensive and integrated on-site social service that helps residents achieve their goals and successfully age in place. The Social Worker is responsible for the implementation of the treatment program in accordance with Volunteers of America policies and procedures, program models, funding source standards, and evidence-based practices. The Social Worker is responsible for meeting the highest possible standards of health and safety and provides all needed quality services to residents to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
