We are hiring a full-time Clinical Social Worker to join our Children's MN Social Work Department at the Minneapolis Campus. The role involves providing clinical care and services within our Cancer and Blood Disorders clinic and inpatient areas, including participation in our larger Oncology Team, which covers ambulatory care, medical/surgical care, and our pediatric intensive care unit. The social worker will also provide bereavement support during end-of-life situations. Our teams are rooted in health equity and trauma-informed care, serving a diverse patient population at various stages of their medical journey.
The Clinical Social Worker will conduct clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and resource mobilization for children and families with complex psycho-social and emotional needs in a pediatric hospital, clinic, and homecare setting. Services are provided to children aged 0-18 and their families.
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work, knowledge of community resources, experience in crisis intervention, and at least two years of counseling experience in a healthcare or pediatric setting, or completion of a relevant graduate internship. Minnesota State LGSW or LICSW licensure is preferred. This position involves billing for services.

The salary range is competitive and based on market survey data, considering factors such as skills, education, training, credentials, experience, internal equity, and organizational needs. In addition to salary, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions requiring night, weekend, or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
