GENERAL PURPOSE
The social worker provides psychosocial assessment, psychiatric diagnosis, and behavioral health treatment for adult patients 18 years and older in the Adult Ambulatory Clinic. The role includes functioning as a primary therapist, coordinating treatment plans, participating in interdisciplinary teams, developing community liaisons, and providing crisis intervention. The social worker may also lead therapeutic groups and conduct intake assessments.
