Job summary

Brunswick County is seeking a Social Work Supervisor III to lead and support a team of social workers across Child Protective Services, In-Home Services, and Permanency Planning/Foster Care. You will assign cases, monitor workloads, provide supervision, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work (or related field with experience) and has strong training, collaboration, and communication skills to recruit, develop, and evaluate staff

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work with related experience required or equivalent.
• Experience supervising social work staff and teams.
• Knowledge of child protective and foster care programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of social workers and assign cases.
• Manage workflow and provide ongoing case supervision.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; ensure timely services.
