Job summary

University of Central Florida invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer position in the School of Social Work. The role involves teaching and field placement in BSW and MSW programs, both campus-based and online, with service at multiple levels.

Start date anticipated Summer 2027. Minimum qualifications include an MSW (CSWE-accredited) and at least one year of field education experience; lecturer rank requires a Ph.D./DSW plus MSW and two years post-MS W

Qualifications

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
• At least one year of experience with field social work education as a teacher/instructor, field instructor or supervisor.
• Two years of post-MS W social work practice experience.
• Ph.D./DSW in Social Work or related field (for lecturer rank).

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise field placements in the BSW and MSW programs (campus based and online).
• Participate in meaningful service at the school, college, university, and community levels.
• Contribute to program development and ongoing evaluation.
