Job summary

The School of Social Work at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure-earning instructor or lecturer position. The successful candidate will teach face-to-face courses on the UCF main campus, with a Spring 2027 start date.

Primary teaching focus will be in the BSW and MSW programs across online and campus formats, with an emphasis on engaging students and delivering undergraduate and graduate curricula.

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program required for instructor rank.
• Ph.D./DSW in Social Work or related field required for lecturer rank.
• At least one year of teaching experience in face-to-face and/or online formats.
• Two years of post MSW clinical social work practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face courses on the UCF main campus.
• Teach in the BSW and MSW programs across online and campus formats.
• Engage in service at the school, college, university, and community levels.
