Position will increase, and enhance public health services by helping clients with intake process, model mental health coping skills and resiliency strategies, listen for indicators client needs access to mental health resources and provide resources. ISU College of Social Work offers a BA degree, and a MSW degree. Students will complete a service term at a social work agency in Idaho while engaging in activities that meet nine social work core competencies and prepare students to intervene with and help individuals, families, and communities. Position duties: assist in case management of individuals who need mental, behavioral, social, or public health support; aid in resource gathering, and case management plans for clients; apply crisis intervention, and service planning to facilitate mental health and wellness support groups; hand out mental health and other applicable supportive resources; help with assessments and intakes of individuals in need of service.
