- Shoot, edit, and post 5-10 short-form social videos per week that help people experience the best our region has to offer, including things to do, places to visit, where to eat, and more.
- Develop one-off video ideas, as well as recurring video series, that align with our newsroom’s coverage and translate stories into engaging, platform-native content.
- Build trust and credibility with our social audience by becoming a consistent personality within their news consumption habit on multiple platforms.
- Stay on top of trends in social video and digital storytelling, bringing innovative formats and techniques to our coverage.
- Work collaboratively with reporters and editors to identify coverage that translates well into social video formats.
- Engage with our audience through comments, Q&As, and live content to foster a sense of community and accessibility.
- This role will require flexible hours that will include night and weekend shifts to cover and capture local events and other experiences.
