The Daily Wire is seeking a Social Platform Specialist to turn podcasts, debates, interviews, live events, and text into timely social assets. You’ll schedule, publish, and track performance across platforms with editorial instincts to move quickly from source material to compelling content.

With 2–3 years in short-form video editing and proficiency in Premiere Pro or CapCut, you’ll understand platform specifics and audience behavior to optimize reach and engagement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on short-form video editing or clipping experience.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar with pacing, subtitles and on-screen text.
• Deep understanding of major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat).
• Strong instincts for social-first content and audience engagement.
• Interest in political, cultural and editorial news landscape.
• Excellent proofreading, grammar and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of platform analytics to inform creative decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging short-form video and social assets from podcasts, debates, interviews, live events, and text content.
• Identify moments with strong social potential and repurpose long-form content into platform-native clips.
• Enhance content with subtitles, motion graphics and on-screen text tailored to each platform.
• Support publishing and scheduling across YouTube, TikTok, Meta, X, and Reddit.
• Write compelling titles, coordinate thumbnails, and optimize posting times and tags.
• Monitor reach, engagement, watch time and retention, using insights to improve future content.
• Collaborate with Platform Specialists and Social Leadership on strategy and priorities.
