Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Social Video Editor to craft platform-native, high-volume content for Reels, Shorts, YouTube and more. You’ll own edits end-to-end, transform raw footage into engaging stories, and tailor cuts for each channel to optimize performance.

You’ll balance speed with quality, develop reusable templates, and collaborate with channel managers to test variants and leverage performance data for better future work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years editing social or digital video for a brand, agency, publisher, creator, production company, or your own audience.
• Portfolio of platform-native work across Reels, TikTok, Shorts, YouTube, etc.
• Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro; fluent CapCut; working knowledge of After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Editing and post-production: Own the process end-to-end from conception to final delivery.
• Platform-native adaptation: Create distinct cuts for Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and other surfaces.
• Hooks and retention: Build strong openings and retention drivers for each cut.
• Story shaping: Craft clear, compelling social-first narratives.
• High-volume versioning: Produce multiple edits and variants to support testing and cadence.
• Motion and graphics: Create lightweight motion treatments, titles, and subtitles.
• Creative quality: Ensure exports meet brand, platform, and accessibility standards.
• Project and asset management: Organize assets, versions, and final exports in a high-volume pipeline.
• Creative testing and partnership: Work with channel managers to test variants and use findings for future cuts.
