DSST Public Schools is hiring Social Studies Teachers for middle and high school campuses across Denver and Aurora. The role focuses on inquiry-based learning, project-based analysis, and supporting students in developing historical reasoning and evidence-based arguments.

Relocation stipend offered for moves from 75 miles outside Denver. Start is July 2027 with full-time, benefits-eligible status and in-person teaching across multiple campuses.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Demonstrated content knowledge meeting applicable in-field qualifications.
• Commitment to educational equity and professional growth.
• Ability to support diverse learners including multilingual students.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver rigorous Social Studies instruction to about 3–5 classes daily using standards-aligned curricula.
• Develop historical thinking through source analysis, discussion, and evidence-based reasoning.
• Support student growth with differentiated feedback and assessments.
• Build a positive classroom culture that values diverse perspectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues for coaching, feedback, and professional development.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and family engagement.
