Date Position Available: 2025-2026 School Year
Qualifications: Appropriate State of Maine Certification (020) General Elementary or (200) Social Studies 7-12 and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.
Description: M.S.A.D. #11 is currently seeking a team-oriented, energetic, and creative educator to join the Gardiner Regional Middle School teaching staff as a Social Studies Teacher. Knowledge of and experience with using data to drive instruction and provide a variety of interventions, differentiation, and creative learning experiences for students is an integral part of the work we do. G.R.M.S. is continually striving to establish solid connections, and ongoing communication with both students and families/guardians to create a positive culture and climate that supports the needs of all students so they can succeed. The ideal candidate would have solid communication skills, a passion for teaching social studies in middle school, a willingness to collaborate with peers, and a sincere desire to contribute to the school culture positively.
