Job summary

You will plan instruction, align lessons to standards, work with the instructional coach, and participate in school improvement and planning activities to support all students’ learning.

Qualifications

• State teacher licensure/certification with appropriate endorsements.
• Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis and/or coursework and/or experience to be deemed highly qualified.
• Demonstrated commitment to young people’s learning success and achievement.
• Evidence of successful experience in student and parent relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction to students and collaborate with school leadership and colleagues.
• Plan a program of study aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and work with instructional coach to improve instruction quality.
• Collaborate with special education staff to implement inclusive practices and accommodations as needed.
• Communicate with parents and participate in school improvement activities.
