Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with student teaching experience and ability to obtain Nevada teaching license.
• Knowledge of child development, behavior and characteristics of students, and subject area teaching.
• Skill at creating effective learning environments, maintaining professional relationships, and using technology for instruction and data-driven decisions.
• License/Certificates: Valid Nevada teaching license in relevant subject or grade level.

Responsibilities

• Administer curriculum aligned with Common Core and IEP requirements.
• Design and implement differentiated lessons and assessments aligned with standards.
• Provide instructions, modifications and IEP implementation in an organized manner.
• Analyze student progress and ensure assessment regulations are followed.
• Maintain accurate records and IEP documentation per guidelines.
• Coordinate with staff to support students with disabilities.
