The State of Arkansas seeks a Social Services Specialist to support the safety, permanency, and well-being of Arkansas children and youth through quality case management. The DCFS is committed to ensuring every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires collaboration with families and community partners, strength in organizing and managing time, and a bachelor's degree with experience with children or families.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree; experience with children or families preferred.
• Minimum two years in human services or public service.
• Background check and maltreatment registry checks required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assess client eligibility and provide case management.
• Develop service plans tailored to client needs.
• Conduct home visits, interviews, and risk assessments.
• Maintain detailed case records and documentation.
• Advocate for clients in legal, medical, and housing matters.
