Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Honolulu, HI seeks a Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents. This leadership role encompasses ensuring residents' rights are informed and respected and guiding a team to deliver high-quality social services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Hawaii licensure as a Social Worker; health-care experience and supervisory background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents.
• Inform residents and families about residents' rights and ensure understanding.
• Provide individual and family counseling and case management services when necessary.
• Consult with team, community, agencies to develop social service programs.

The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents. This position encompasses:

• Assures that all residents and families are informed fully concerning \"residents rights\"
• Provides individual and family counseling and case management services to individuals and families when necessary.
• Provides consultation to members of the team, community, agencies, etc. in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the residents through the development of social service programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or combination of education and experience.
