Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks a Social Services Director to oversee the Social Services Department and ensure residents’ social, emotional, and psychological needs are met in compliance with laws and regulations.

You will assess, document, and intervene to meet psychosocial needs, develop care plans, and maintain collaborations with medical professionals and related organizations to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Two years of job-related experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with social work, preferably with patients and families in nursing facility.

Social Services Director

The Social Services Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Social Services department to ensure all medically related emotional and social needs of patients are met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties

• Manage and direct the Social Services Department, and identify and provide for residents social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Accurately assess, document and provide interventions to meet psychosocial needs of all residents.
• Develop care plans based on assessments.
