Adept Nursing & Rehab of Ashland is seeking an experienced Social Service Director to lead our social services department and advocate for residents’ well-being. You will develop programs, provide counseling, and ensure compliance across state and federal regulations.

The role requires leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to ethical social work practice within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) or related field is preferred.
• Social Service Designee certification or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year experience in social services, preferably in LTC/SNF or similar healthcare.
• Minimum 1 year of management/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement social service programs that meet residents/clients’ needs.
• Provide counseling, support, and advocacy for individuals and families.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to enhance holistic care.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports on services provided.
• Establish relationships with community agencies and resources.
• Train and supervise social work staff (if applicable).
