Beauvais Rehab & Healthcare is seeking an experienced Social Services Director to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in St. Louis.

You will support high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting and work with a dedicated, team-oriented staff to enhance resident well-being. The role emphasizes emotional and resident support, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or related healthcare.
• Strong communication, documentation, and resident support skills.
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional, psychological, rehabilitation, and resident support services under nursing/medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, behavior, eating habits, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
• Interview residents on admission and complete assessments and documentation.
• Participate in recreational and social activities with residents to encourage engagement and quality of life.
