Job summary

Newark Rehabilitation seeks a Social Services Director to lead the social services team, oversee comprehensive assessments, psychosocial interventions, and discharge planning to promote resident well-being. You will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain detailed records, and contribute to quality improvement and budget management to sustain high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to social services and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident assessments, care plans, and interventions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
