Job summary

Nexus Health in Cahokia, IL is seeking a Social Services Director to oversee the planning and implementation of social services programs in our facility. You will recruit, hire and supervise staff, and apply evidence-based treatment modalities including wellness recovery action plans, illness management and recovery, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

  • Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code (LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, LMFT, etc.).
  • At least two (2) years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
