Job summary

Arcadia Care in Streator, IL is seeking a part-time Social Services Assistant to support the Social Services Department. You will help implement programs addressing the emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis, under supervision and according to facility policies.

The role involves coordinating with the team to plan and evaluate services while prioritizing residents’ well-being. A minimum of one year of supervised experience in mental health or human services is preferred,

Job Summary

The Social Services Assistant assists in the implementation of programs the Social Services Department, assuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Essential Duties

• Planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of facility’s Social Services Department.
• Establish policies, and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator.
• Safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all manner, in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
