Job summary

County of Siskiyou is seeking an entry-to-journey level Social Services Staff Analyst Trainer to develop and deliver training on CalWORKs, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and related public assistance programs. You will collaborate with HHSA managers to assess needs and craft curricula.

The role includes coordinating training logistics, mentoring entry-level trainees, and providing technical support to staff while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with laws. Salary is set by the county schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience analyzing programs or technical data; supervisory/lead preferred; or one year at higher level with similar duties.
• Three years of experience in public assistance or social services analysis; or related casework.
• Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in social welfare, social/human services, sociology, or related behavioral science.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret State, Federal and County rules to determine policy changes and training needs.
• Plan, develop and conduct training on public assistance programs and related policies.
• Coordinate and evaluate training programs and materials; monitor trainee performance.
• Provide technical expertise to staff and management and assess training effectiveness.
