Under general supervision, provides assistance to Psychiatry clinical team and other hospital personnel in provision of direct services to patients. Plays a key role in assessing patient's continuity of care needs and connecting patients/families with hospital and community resources. In collaboration with clinical team members, assumes responsibility for the provision of concrete resources such as housing, transportation, food assistance, etc. Acts as a content expert in community resources and services to support patients, families, and the larger organization.

This is a 7:00pm-7:00am night shift. Days will vary but will include working every other weekend.

Required Education And Experience

Bachelors degree in counseling, social work, or a related field. At least three (3) years of experience, preferably in a medical, mental health, or social work setting, and to include: customer service experience, experience working with computers. Proficient written and oral communication skills, detail oriented.

Required Credentials

None.

Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish or other language. Working knowledge of entitlement programs, including Medicaid, Medicare Social Security Disability, WA State DSHS benefits/programs, etc.

Compensation Range

$31.28 - $46.93 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
