Job summary

CBH Care in Emerson, New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time Social Service Counselor for dayshift to support consumers with daily living skills, budgeting, and benefits linking. The role includes driving responsibilities and adherence to our policies, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with competitive pay.

You will provide medication education, document in electronic charts, contribute to treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work or BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field
• BA in an unrelated field with two years of experience
• AA in a related field with two years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with activities of daily living skills and budgeting
• Provide medication education and observe self-administration of medication
• Facilitate social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
