University of California, Merced is seeking Social Science Learning Hub Tutors (Non-Senate) to support Psychology, Public Health, Sociology and more through drop-in sessions. Tutors work as knowledgeable peers to foster students' academic growth, focusing on effective learning strategies and study skills.

Responsibilities include helping students engage with materials, strengthen notetaking, and develop independent study habits; Writing Consultants may contribute to workshops and outreach

Responsibilities

• Help students identify and apply information from course materials.
• Strengthen note-taking and organization strategies and assist with challenging concepts.
• Collaborate on projects for the Social Science Learning Hub (workshops, outreach, social media).
