Job summary

FPW Media is seeking a Social Media Specialist in Springfield, Oregon to develop and manage campaigns that elevate brand awareness and drive conversions for clients. This hands-on role blends content creation with daily platform management, collaborating with Creative and Account Management teams.

You will create engaging content across platforms, analyze performance, optimize campaigns, and stay up-to-date with trends. Onsite presence in our office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or 4+ years in social media management/digital marketing.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
• Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Onsite presence required – this is not a remote position.

Job Overview

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that elevate brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive conversions for FPW Media and our clients. This creative, detail-oriented role blends strategic planning with hands‑on content creation and daily platform management. You will collaborate closely with our Creative and Account Management teams to ensure brand consistency and measurable results across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Management: Develop, create, and schedule engaging content—including graphics, copy, and video—across multiple platforms.
• Social Media Strategy: Plan, execute, and optimize organic and social campaigns to meet marketing objectives.
• Social Media Growth: Increasing followership and engagement across a variety of social platforms for clients.
• Community Engagement: Monitor channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive brand interactions.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align social media initiatives with overall brand and marketing strategies.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, social trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Paid Social Support: Assist in the creation, targeting, and management of paid social advertising campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field AND two (2) years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing OR four (4) years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
• Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social accounts for multiple clients
• Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Onsite presence required – this is not a remote position.
