Job summary

Mockins, a Brooklyn-based automotive e-commerce brand, is seeking a creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to own day-to-day social presence across platforms and collaborate with design and ecommerce teams to align strategies with sales goals.

You will plan and execute campaigns, edit content with the design team, manage influencer outreach, and stay ahead of trends to grow audience and engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for social platforms, trends, and brand building.
• Strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems independently.
• Experience with Canva/CapCut or Premiere Pro is a bonus.
• Excellent cross-team communication and influencer outreach.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and influencer marketing a plus.

Position Overview

We're seeking a creative, resourceful Social Media Marketing Specialist to own our day-to-day social media presence — creating and editing content, coordinating influencer outreach, and spotting new opportunities to grow our audience, while working closely with our design and e-commerce teams to align social strategy with sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
• Create, edit, and prepare content (images, videos, captions) in partnership with the design team
• Upload and schedule posts, maintain publishing calendars, and ensure consistent, on-brand posting
• Research, contact, and manage relationships with influencers and creators for UGC and partnerships
• Align social content with product launches, promotions, and sales goals with the ecommerce team
• Monitor trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities
• Troubleshoot content, campaign, and scheduling challenges independently

Qualifications

• Genuine enthusiasm for social platforms, trends, and building brand presence
• Keen eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and spotting new angles or opportunities
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and problem-solving independently
• Basic content editing experience (Canva, CapCut, or Premiere Pro a bonus)
