Mockins is a fast-growing automotive e-commerce brand based in Brooklyn, NY, seeking a creative Social Media Manager to own day-to-day social presence. You will create and edit content, coordinate influencer outreach, and align social with sales objectives in partnership with design and ecommerce teams.

The role requires a passion for social platforms, strong storytelling, and ability to manage multiple campaigns with deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine enthusiasm for social platforms and trends.
• Keen eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and new angles.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems independently.
• Basic content editing experience (Canva, CapCut, or Premiere Pro a bonus).
• Strong, professional communication for cross-team outreach.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Adobe Creative Suite and/or influencer marketing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Create, edit, and prepare content (images, videos, captions) in partnership with the design team.
• Upload and schedule posts, maintain publishing calendars, and ensure consistent posting.
• Research, contact, and manage relationships with influencers and creators for UGC and partnerships.
• Align social content with product launches, promotions, and sales goals with the ecommerce team.
• Monitor trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities.
• Troubleshoot content, campaign, and scheduling challenges independently.
