Job summary

Debt.com is seeking a Marketing Intern who is in their final year and eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, and video content creation. The role involves creating engaging content, appearing on camera, and editing with CapCut for multiple platforms.

You will work alongside an experienced marketing team, contribute to campaigns for Debt.com and affiliated brands, and gain a portfolio of published content. Fort Lauderdale on-site, paying hourly intern rate.

Qualifications

• In final year of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Advertising/Journali­sm/Digital Media or related field.
• CapCut video editing experience required.
• Comfortable appearing on camera regularly for company social media videos.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Creative storytelling, strong communication, organization, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Regularly appear on camera in educational videos, trending formats, and creative skits.
• Edit videos in CapCut, adding captions, transitions, music, and graphics.
• Assist with social media scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
• Brainstorm content ideas, draft short scripts, and write engaging captions.
• Research trends and competitors to identify new content opportunities.
• Repurpose existing videos and content for multiple platforms.
• Support digital campaigns and track basic engagement and reach metrics.
