We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the execution of engaging social media strategies for high-profile brands in the aesthetics and wellness industries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with social media managers, content creators, video editors, and designers to develop compelling content and maintain effective account management. You will contribute to content planning, trend research, community engagement, and performance tracking across major social media platforms. This position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced digital marketing environment where creativity, organization, and measurable results are equally valued. You will have opportunities to share ideas, take ownership of projects, and help brands strengthen their online presence and generate meaningful engagement. For an ambitious digital marketing professional, this role provides a strong foundation for career growth and progression into social media management and client leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Content Coordination and Preparation: Assist in developing engaging content scripts, hooks, and creative concepts for Instagram, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Support client filming sessions by preparing scripts, researching trends, and organizing shot lists.

  • Creative Team Collaboration: Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and social media managers to ensure content moves efficiently through production and publication workflows.

  • Social Media Management and Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions across social platforms. Help maintain a consistent brand voice and foster positive online communities for each client.

  • Trend Research and Content Ideation: Identify emerging social media trends, popular formats, and relevant audience interests. Contribute creative ideas for timely, engaging, and performance‑oriented content.

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Collect and analyze weekly social media metrics, including reach, audience retention, engagement rates, and content performance. Support the preparation of client‑facing reports and actionable insights.

  • Content Optimization: Identify successful content patterns and areas for improvement, helping the team refine strategies and adapt campaigns based on performance data.

  • Administrative and Workflow Support: Maintain organized content calendars, asset libraries, project files, and task boards using tools such as Notion, Basecamp, and Hootsuite.

  • Cross-Team Communication: Coordinate with internal teams to track deliverables, meet deadlines, resolve workflow issues, and ensure projects progress smoothly.

Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: 1–2 years of practical experience in social media marketing, content marketing, digital strategy, or a related field, gained in an agency or in‑house environment.

  • Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Meta tools, including content publishing, audience engagement, and performance monitoring.

  • Content and Brand Awareness: A strong interest in branding, storytelling, digital content creation, and developing social media content that attracts attention and drives measurable results.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Analytical Abilities: Basic understanding of social media analytics and key performance indicators, with the ability to identify trends and communicate performance observations clearly.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with tools such as Notion, Hootsuite, Canva, Google Docs, Basecamp, or similar content management and collaboration platforms.

  • Communication and Initiative: Strong written communication skills, a proactive mindset, willingness to ask questions, and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities while collaborating effectively with a team.

  • Adaptability and Accountability: Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly and responsiveness, execution speed, and reliability are essential.

  • Portfolio: Ability to share relevant examples of previous social media work, content calendars, campaigns, or other marketing projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, medical spas, wellness brands, or personal branding clients.

  • Familiarity with video editing or visual content creation using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe software.

  • Understanding of viral content formats, short‑form video trends, and techniques for increasing social media reach and engagement.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Hourly Compensation: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

  • Remote Work: Fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States.

  • Flexible Schedule: Flexible working hours, with an expectation of timely communication and responsiveness.

  • Career Advancement: Opportunities to progress into Social Media Manager positions and eventually take on broader client management and account leadership responsibilities.
