ThinkMarkets Group is seeking a creative Social Media Manager for ThinkCapital to grow our social presence, engage trader audiences and build an active online community. You will plan, create and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and more, manage daily interactions and use performance insights to improve results, ensuring content reflects ThinkCapital’s products and brand.

Based in Chicago, this role collaborates with Marketing, Product and Support to drive campaigns

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• Hands-on experience managing social channels.
• Familiarity with short-form video formats (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong writing skills and ability to adapt content for different platforms.
• Understanding of audience engagement, community management and analytics.
• Interest in prop trading and understanding trader audiences.
• Experience in prop trading/fintech or trading-related marketing is a plus.
• Experience with Discord or creator collaborations is a plus.
• Provide examples of content, campaigns or social channels you have worked on.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media activity across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Manage the content calendar, aligning posts with campaigns and trading themes.
• Create engaging content including captions, short-form videos and community posts.
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to produce platform-specific visuals and videos.
• Translate challenge features and product benefits into clear, accessible content.
• Test new content formats and trends while maintaining brand voice.
• Manage daily audience interactions and coordinate queries with Support.
• Build and engage trader communities across platforms and Discord.
• Encourage conversations, gather feedback and identify opportunities for participation.
• Support collaborations with trading creators, influencers and ambassadors.
• Monitor sentiment and flag recurring questions to relevant teams.
• Track growth, engagement, reach, website traffic and conversions; use insights to improve content.
