ThinkMarkets Group is seeking a Social Media Manager for prop trading initiatives in Chicago. You will develop and execute a social media plan across major platforms, manage content calendars, and collaborate with Creative and Marketing to deliver platform-specific visuals and videos.

The role emphasizes translating trading concepts into accessible content, growing community engagement and monitoring performance to optimize campaigns. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing social channels and creating engaging content.
• Familiarity with short-form video formats, including TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt content for different platforms.
• Understanding of audience engagement, community management and social media analytics.
• Interest in prop trading and an understanding of trader audiences and evaluation programs.
• Experience with Discord, creator collaborations or social media management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Social Media & Content Plan and execute social media activity across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Eurostaffs and other relevant platforms.
• Manage the content calendar, aligning posts with product updates, campaigns and promotions.
• Create engaging content including captions, short-form videos, educational posts and community-led content.
• Work with Creative and Marketing teams to produce platform-specific visuals, reels and videos.
• Translate challenge features, evaluation rules and product benefits into clear, accessible content.
• Test new content formats and respond to relevant trends while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
