Generating Income For Tomorrow in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager to lead the organization's social media strategy and boost donor acquisition and engagement.

You will develop and execute campaigns, create visuals, grow reach, and tell stories that inspire giving. This role focuses on increasing recurring donors and measuring campaign ROI and ROAS.

Responsibilities

Job description

Generating Income For Tomorrow is a movement founded in 2020, focused on building a better future for the Black community in the city of Kansas City, by turning Black owned businesses into sustainable Black employers. The organization provides grants to Black-owned businesses, operating in east of Troost Ave, and free business support at our 5008 Prospect business center, to help stimulate job creation and economic opportunity. The organization is supported by recurring donations that fuel our mission to fight racism and drive sustainable change in Kansas City.

The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO, responsible for executing G.I.F.T.'s overall social media strategy to increase donor acquisition and engagement among small dollar recurring donors, and advance the organization's mission. This position develops and executes strategic social media initiatives that improve donor acquisition and retention, executes fundraising campaigns, and manages social media communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute partnership campaigns that increase donor retention, and donor acquisition.
• Design graphics that help to meet agreed upon social media goals
• Develop and implement strategies to grow G.I.F.T.'s social media reach and engagement.
• Execute fundraising campaigns and storytelling initiatives that communicate organizational impact and inspire philanthropic support.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

• Increase in donor acquisition and donor retention through social media campaigns.
• Growth in social media followers, engagement, and overall digital reach.
• Successful execution and measurable performance of fundraising campaigns.
• Marketing campaign performance measured by ROI/ROAS

Salary: $70K - $80K
