This role acts as the team lead for organic social media planning, creation, and evaluation, while overseeing governance, evaluation, and community management processes. Maximus has seen an increase in the number of accounts we operate, now exceeding 20, requiring a dedicated role. The successful candidate will lead monthly social media planning meetings with support from the PR Manager, advise on social media strategy and tactics, and develop organic campaigns as needed.

The position offers a salary of £32,000 to £37,000 (Non-London) and £37,000 to £42,000 (London). It is home-based with occasional travel to team meetings and other business-related meetings.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading social media content planning and evaluation, including monthly meetings and audience segmentation, to improve content quality.
• Collaborating with Communications and Marketing teams to enhance social media output, develop engaging campaigns, and adapt to social media trends and algorithm changes.
• Ensuring internal governance processes are followed to maintain quality and mitigate reputational risks.
• Developing and managing community engagement across social media platforms, including responding to comments and complaints.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Managing social media accounts and developing organic campaigns
• Understanding social media audiences and platform nuances (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
• Evaluating social media campaigns across channels
• Developing social media strategies for large organisations (preferred)

Individual Competencies:

• Proficiency in posting, scheduling, and evaluating social media content
• Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of social media's role and potential reputational risks
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage multiple projects
