Huntington Bank seeks social media interns from partner universities to join our editorial content team. You will learn content strategy, storytelling, and audience insight while supporting content planning across platforms.

This remote-friendly, hybrid internship offers hands-on experience with a regulated industry, collaboration with brand, social, and production partners, and a focus on localized campus content guidance.

Qualifications

• Rising college junior enrolled Summer 2027 at Huntington partner schools.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Film, Digital Media or a related field.
• Experience or demonstrated ability in social media content creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interns and mentors to develop social media concepts grounded in audience needs and brand goals.
• Participate in brainstorming and content planning discussions, presenting concepts and feedback.
• Identify relevant articles and incorporate them into social plans with the editorial content team.
• Create, edit, optimize content for various social platforms and formats, including original photo/video content.
• Develop a localized social content toolkit for their Huntington partner university and present recommendations to brand stakeholders.
• Support content planning, workflow management, project execution and performance analysis.
