Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking creative and collaborative college students for its Social Media Internship Program. Interns will work with the editorial content team, tools like CapCut and Canva, and partner universities to learn content lifecycle from concept to publication.

Participants will be exposed to a regulated financial services environment, contribute ideas, and develop localized campus content. The program offers hybrid in-office participation for some interns and remote work from home

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Advertising or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience or interest in social media content is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with interns and mentors to develop social media concepts grounded in audience needs and business goals.
Participate in brainstorming, reviews, and content planning discussions with the team.
Assist in selecting relevant articles and incorporating them into social plans for timeliness and audience awareness.
Create, edit, and optimize content for various social platforms and formats.
Develop localized social content guidance for Huntington partner universities.
Support planning, workflow, project execution and performance analysis to improve future content.
