Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a creative Social Media Intern to support our marketing team with hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and brand communications across our hospice brands. This part-time role provides exposure to scheduling content, graphics, and video across key platforms.

You will learn to align posts with brand guidelines while gaining insight into healthcare marketing policies, patient stories, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field in Texas.
• Familiar with major social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Strong written communication, grammar, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with Canva required.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of creating & managing a social media content calendar.
• Creative mindset with willingness to learn from feedback and contribute ideas.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Professionalism and discretion handling sensitive healthcare-related content.
• Previous internship, social media management, or content creation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn via SocialPilot.
• Create graphics, captions, and short-form video content that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Support management of social media accounts across multiple hospice brands to ensure consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with local teams to collect photos, patient stories, and community engagement opportunities.
• Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and elevate inquiries as appropriate.
• Track performance metrics like reach and follower growth monthly.
• Maintain organized digital asset library (photos, videos, graphics).
• Ensure content follows brand standards, privacy guidelines, and healthcare marketing policies.

This part‑time position offers hands‑on experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and brand communications across our family of hospice brands.

• Develop, schedule, and publish social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn via SocialPilot.
• Create compelling graphics, captions, and short‑form video content that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Support the management of social media accounts across multiple hospice brands, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
• Collaborate with local teams to collect photos, patient stories, employee recognition highlights, and community engagement opportunities.
• Monitor social media engagement, including comments, messages, and interactions, and elevate inquiries as appropriate.
• Track social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content effectiveness on a monthly basis.
• Help maintain an organized library of digital assets, including photography, videos, and branded graphics.
• Ensure published content follows company brand standards, privacy guidelines, and applicable healthcare marketing policies.
