Job summary

Marguerite Casey Foundation is seeking a Social Media Fellow to develop and maintain a comprehensive digital and social media plan, amplifying the Foundation’s presence. The role focuses on growing audiences on the website and social channels, increasing engagement, and strengthening relationships with influencers.

The 24-month, full-time fellowship is based in Seattle, WA, with emphasis on communities underrepresented in philanthropy and a commitment to a career in the field.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in social media, communications, monitoring and evaluation, or advocacy.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, PR, social science, or related field.
• Experience with social media publishing, management and listening tools.
• Experience with visual design, photography and video editing is a plus.
• Strong data analytics and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve goals (followers, impressions, influencers, mentions, traffic).
• Lead and manage the Foundation's social media accounts.
• Collaborate on an editorial calendar that supports priorities and trends.
• Craft clear, compelling content for multiple platforms to build engagement.
• Act as a key voice for the Foundation and highlight impact of poverty.
