Job summary

Align Social Impact is offering a Fall 2026 Fellowship in New York City, 14 weeks, 20 hours per week, hybrid work setup (80% remote, 20% in person). The role focuses on philanthropy, partnerships, and programming, with opportunities to work on diverse client projects across disciplines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in social impact fields, possess strong research and writing skills, and are eager to learn from leaders in the social impact space. Residency in New York State is required.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex projects and environments.
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative research and synthesis tools.
• Interest and passion for data- and purpose-driven programs.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Google Suite, Salesforce, Slack, Asana, and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Support research coordination, including issue area research and note-taking.
• Assist in project management, work plans, and databases for teams and clients.
• Help design sessions with agendas, materials, surveys, and interviews.
• Support external and internal communications to increase reach and visibility.
• Develop scalable tools and templates for Align-led campaigns and initiatives.
• Contribute to Align's social impact priorities and standard implementation efforts.
• Track trends in social impact, CSR, and ESG sectors.
• Help develop policies, partnerships, and infrastructure for clients.
