Job summary

Veronica Beard seeks a Social Media Editor in NYC with a hybrid work model. You will own end-to-end social content from concept to posting, coordinating shoots, partnerships and trend-driven content that aligns with the Veronica Beard voice.

Ideal candidates have 5-6 years in social media marketing, content creation or art direction, strong photography/videography skills and familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and Substack. This role reports to the Senior Director of Social & Content Strategy.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation and/or art direction.
• Loves following brands, creators and trends online.
• Strong understanding of Veronica Beard’s brand voice and aesthetic.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Director of Social & Content in creating a content plan for each month, including in-house shoots and creator partnerships.
• Help plan and oversee social-first photoshoots, pull swipe files, create shotlists, collaborate with partners and capture content on set.
• Conceptualize and help design social graphics for photo carousels and video across platforms.
• Coordinate with VB styling, design and store teams to gather employee-generated content (store tours, BTS, travel diaries).
• Collaborate with the Social Media Associate to develop a TikTok strategy and capture content reacting to trends.
• Attend VB events, activations and photoshoots to capture social-first content and turn around posts quickly.
• Maintain a Rolodex of up-and-coming creators to tap for collaborations beyond influencer partnerships.
