The New York Post is seeking a sharp, reality TV-obsessed Social Content & Community Manager for Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea. You will ideate, produce and publish platform-specific content that drives engagement and growth, from breaking moments to viral takes.

You’ll monitor trends across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook and Threads, crafting explainers and commentary that amplify the show’s voice. On-camera appearances and interviews with talent will be part of the role, with collaboration

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Virtual Reali-Tea social and editorial teams to ideate and execute platform-specific content that drives engagement and growth.
• Pitch, conceptualize and produce timely content for maximum reach across social platforms.
• Monitor social media platforms to identify trending conversations and turn breaking moments into explainers.
• Help build the Virtual Reali-Tea voice and brand by engaging with the community.
• Work with hosts to identify compelling angles from interviews and turn them into formats for coverage.
• Prepare questions for and cover red carpets and premieres to deliver newsworthy interviews.
• Appear on camera when needed to deliver commentary or quick reactions to moments.
• Collaborate with online, video and social teams to ensure platform-native content.

This role is for someone who doesn’t just watch reality TV, they live it! You know the casts, the feuds, the timelines, and the fan theories as they unfold in real time. If your group chats rely on you for every reality TV update, then this is your role.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Virtual Reali-Tea social and editorial teams to ideate and execute platform-specific content that drives engagement, fuels growth and leads the conversation.Pitch, conceptualize and produce timely content for maximum reach across social platforms, from breaking news to viral moments and deeper cultural takesMonitor social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Threads, etc) to identify trending conversations, fan theories, and emerging storylines and rapidly turn breaking moments into social explainersHelp build the Virtual Reali-Tea voice and brand across social platforms by responding to comments, direct messages, etc., and engaging with our reality TV communityWork closely with hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real to identify the most compelling angles from interviews and quickly turn them into multi-media formats and pitch to other outlets for coveragePrepare questions for and cover red carpets and premieres ensuring we get the most news-worthy and entertaining interviews, stories and video to advance our coverageAppear on camera, when needed, to deliver commentary, explainers or quick-hit reactions to breaking reality TV momentsCollaborate with online, video and social teams to ensure content is platform-native and built for shareabilityWrite trending articles and video scripts with clean copy in the VRT voice when neededWho You AreDeeply knowledgeable and genuinely obsessed with reality TV across networks and streamers (Bravo, Netflix, Peacock, etc.)Chronically online in the best way, you instinctively know what’s trending and whyAn exceptionally strong multimedia storyteller and producer who can match VRT’s unique voice, and create viral visuals and commentary that travels across the Page Six networkThink about shareability first.
