About the Position:

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Coordinator to help grow and engage our audience across platforms. This isn’t a passive posting gig - you’ll be planning content, riding trends, collaborating across departments, and driving traffic back to our site.

You’ll work with a small, fast-moving team that believes in bold ideas, clear results, and having fun doing it.

Note: We are looking for someone with part-time availability (20-25 hours per week) to come to our beautiful downtown office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, write, and schedule daily content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Jump on trends, Reels, memes, and moments that make sense for our brand
  • Track performance and highlight what’s working (and what’s not)
  • Collaborate with our designers, writers, and brand team to execute creative campaigns
  • Stay organized and meet weekly deadlines without missing a beat
  • Engage with our audience in comments and DMs
  • Assist with our “swag” vendor to send gifts to users and prep for conferences.

A Day in the Life:

  • 30%: Content Creation and Scheduling - Writing captions, selecting assets, using tools like Hootsuite to schedule posts, and maintaining the content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • 30%: Trend Monitoring and Ideation - Researching what’s trending, watching competitors, brainstorming content ideas, and identifying ways to adapt cultural moments or memes to the brand voice.
  • 15%: Community Management - Responding to DMs, comments, and mentions. Flagging customer issues, engaging with the community, and keeping our brand voice consistent.
  • 20%: Cross-functional collaboration - Meeting with design, content, and fulfillment teams to align on campaigns, get visuals, review promotions, and plan for upcoming launches.
  • 5%: Reporting & analysis - Pulling basic analytics, reviewing what worked, and adjusting the strategy accordingly.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience running social accounts for a brand or business
  • Know your way around Canva, Hootsuite, and social media analytics tools
  • Can write witty, engaging captions with minimal guidance
  • Are comfortable editing short-form video and know how to use trending audio
  • Are obsessed with what makes people click, comment, and share
  • Take direction well, but also bring your own ideas to the table
