Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is seeking a Social Media Coordinator for the Denver Nuggets to manage ideation, organization and strategic multimedia content across social channels. You will publish content, support campaigns and help grow fan engagement.

The role requires 2+ years in social media, a BS/BA, and a passion for basketball/NBA culture. This full-time position in Denver offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in field or related field; High School or GED also acceptable.
• 2+ years’ experience working in social media.
• Experience and/or knowledge in basketball and NBA culture (preferred).
• Experience copywriting and publishing on social.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, organize, manage and implement multimedia content for KSE Digital and Nuggets platforms.
• Publish across Denver Nuggets social channels as needed.
• Support content planning including video, written, and graphical posts.
• Track performance and optimize posts and campaigns.
• Identify trends and adjust strategies to improve engagement.

KSE Digital is an entity of KSE and is responsible for content creation and distribution, web/app development, and digital advertising for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, Altitude Sports, and other KSE-owned platforms.

Nature of Work:

Responsible for ideation, organization, management and strategic implementation of multimedia content for KSE Digital and across the Denver Nuggets’ social and digital platforms.

Examples of work performed:

• Responsible for publishing across multiple Denver Nuggets’ social media channels based on social media team needs
• Drives execution of Denver Nuggets Shop social media channels, bringing commercial value to the team’s retail marketing efforts.
• Covers and promotes games, practices, team and community events, sponsored assets, marketing and ticket sales initiatives, and fan-facing interaction for team platforms.
• Contributes to planning content, including video, written, graphical, and nuanced social media specific posts.
• Helps organize content calendars, track and measure performance, and make recommendations to optimize future post and campaign performance.
• Identifies trends within the social and digital content space, and makes recommendations on adjusted strategies to optimize for engagement, growth and overall performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum
  • BS/BA degree in field or related field
  • High School or GED
  • 2+ years’ experience working in social media
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge in basketball and NBA culture.
  • Experience copywriting and publishing on social.
• Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner

Compensation

• Base hourly range $21-23 per hour
