MS Companies is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support recruiting, social media, and marketing initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for creating and coordinating digital content, recruiting materials, social media campaigns, and other creative marketing assets that strengthen the MS Companies brand and support candidate engagement.
The Social Media Coordinator works closely with Marketing, Delivery, Technical Recruiting, and other internal teams to manage marketing requests, maintain social media channels, and support recruiting and corporate marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level or early-career experience in social media marketing, content creation, graphic design, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, is required.
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging graphics, written content, video assets, and other digital content for a variety of audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent proofreading, editing, and attention to detail. Ability to adapt messaging and communication style to different audiences and business objectives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, meet deadlines, track requests, and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn and effectively use the Salesforce Marketing Request System and social media analytics tools.
- Ability to review social media and marketing performance data, identify trends, and use insights to support content and campaign improvements.
- Creative, dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred. Relevant coursework, internships, portfolio work, or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Internship experience or demonstrated creative work is preferred.
- Experience with Canva and Adobe Stock or similar creative asset libraries is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media publishing, scheduling, and content management tools is preferred.
- Portfolio or examples of relevant creative work preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM or marketing management system preferred.
- Experience with social media scheduling platforms, basic SEO, website analytics, paid social media campaigns, digital advertising, recruiting marketing, B2B marketing, or employer branding is preferred.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Marketing Support: Coordinate and execute marketing requests supporting Delivery and Technical Recruiting, including job advertisements, hiring flyers, yard signs, hiring event materials, QR code materials, and other recruiting collateral. Ensure materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with MS Companies' brand standards.
- Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the MS Companies Careers social media presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing content that promotes job opportunities, hiring events, employee stories, company culture, and the overall candidate experience.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging graphics, written content, short-form videos, and other creative assets for recruiting and marketing initiatives. Adapt content and messaging to effectively reach job seekers, employees, customers, and professional audiences.
- Social Media Coordination: Coordinate content across relevant social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other appropriate channels. Maintain an organized content calendar and monitor account activity.
- Marketing Request Management: Work directly with Delivery, Technical Recruiting, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to receive, clarify, prioritize, track, and complete marketing requests. Maintain accurate request information and status updates through the Salesforce Marketing Request System.
- Brand & Creative Standards: Maintain consistency with MS Companies' brand identity, voice, tone, messaging, and visual standards across social media, recruiting materials, and other marketing communications. Utilize approved creative resources and software to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Corporate Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing team to support corporate social media, campaigns, internal communications, events, presentations, and other creative marketing initiatives as assigned.
- Marketing Project Support: Assist with sales materials, presentations, event collateral, digital assets, and other Marketing projects based on department priorities and business needs.
- Social Media Engagement: Monitor social media activity, comments, and messages and respond or route inquiries appropriately. Support initiatives designed to increase engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and promote a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor social media and recruiting content performance, including engagement, clicks, traffic, and candidate or applicant response. Assist with performance reporting and identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.
- Campaign & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Delivery, Technical Recruiting, and other internal stakeholders to support recruiting campaigns, hiring initiatives, company events, and organizational priorities.
- Industry & Platform Awareness: Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, content best practices, and emerging marketing tools and technologies. Recommend opportunities to improve content strategy, engagement, and marketing effectiveness.

- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods
- Must be able to operate a computer and use standard office equipment for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a standard office environment and occasionally visit operational or manufacturing locations as needed
